Private InfoKeeper Security
The security of Private InfoKeeper is provided with sets of unique data protection mechanisms like:
Autolocking system
This built-in function assures that nobody will see your data even when you are away from your desk.
Your storage will be locked automatically after defined period of inactivity or even if you lock only your computer (windows account).
Password visibility limitation
This function helps you to hide your passwords.
There are 5 levels of password visibility:
- Always visible (not recommended). Password will be always shown in your cards.
- Toggle by mouse click. One mouse click on card to show your password, one more mouse click to hide it.
- During mouse click on card. You have to click and hold (on card) to see your password.
- During mouse click on password. You have to click and hold (on password in card) to see your password.
- Fully invisible. Your password is invisible at any time. To see a password you need to go to "Card Edition wizard" (Hotkey: Alt+E) and check "Show" checkbox on the right of password field.
Other features
Our software does not have backdoors or engineering key. Should you lose or forget your password, there is nothing we can do to help you gain access to your data.
